Saratoga Elementary
Relief Drive for Haiti
The fifth grade students at Saratoga Elementary are raising
funds to help the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. We
started this project after one of our classmates decided to give
$75 of his savings to help Haiti, and his parents said they
would match it. We figured that in addition to what we are
giving personally, maybe we could find other people to
contribute, too.

There is an urgent need for tents to house the many people
left homeless by the earthquake, so we are directing our
donations to ShelterBox USA. ShelterBox provides victims of
disasters with rugged tents, along with basic supplies like
blankets, pots and dishes, and water purification tablets. To
learn more about the organization, click the

ShelterBox
link to the left.

If you want to match our first $75 donation, that would be
great. If you can give more, or even one dollar, that would be
great, too.

Better yet, you can ask your family and friends to match what
you give. And maybe they will ask someone else to match what
they give. Pass it along, keep it going.

You can donate by clicking the

CHOOSE TO MAKE A DONATION, PLEASE NOTE IN THE
